Team Clendenan

Oblivious to the calendar noting the END of the season, Team Clendenan welcomed the chance to attend the High Performance Clinic at the Thornhill Curling Club to get started on their NEXT season. Not only was the event a chance to visit a new club with top level coaching, but Michaela, Grace and Emma were also on a mission to complete their roster with someone to fill their empty lead spot.

As the day unfolded with team building and training exercises, laughter wound it’s way through the hours and the girls thoroughly enjoyed learning and interviewing simultaneously. Despite their best efforts, a clear winner was not declared and the girls had to settle for crossing a few candidates off the list and also committing to further due diligence and discussions about who would be the best fit going forward.
